WETEX 2017 presents innovative water treatment technologies

The latest technologies in water treatment will be a focus of the 19th Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition (WETEX 2017) taking place in Dubai on 23-25 October.

Organised by the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), WETEX 2017 is designed to attract key industry players in water desalination, treatment and conservation technologies. The theme of this year's event is ‘At the Forefront of Sustainability.’ 

The exhibition encompasses water treatment, desalination plants, pipes, coolers and heaters, as well as tools, equipment and accessories for digging technologies, pumps, valves, the latest advances in irrigation systems, agriculture and horticultural equipment and water extraction equipment. Promoting water conservation, WETEX 2017 will also include products for detecting and treating water leaks, reservoir lining, and various materials used in the water sector and for water transportation.

During the exhibition, DEWA will highlight the efforts of the UAE Water Aid Foundation (Suqia) to combat poverty and disease by finding long-term sustainable solutions for the scarcity of drinking water by using sustainable solutions.
