WAMGROUP acquires Enviro-Care

Enviro-Care has been manufacturing liquid/solid separation and solids reduction technology for the wastewater industry since 1972. The company is the exclusive licencee in North America for SAVI Srl, an Italian wastewater treatment equipment company which is also owned by WAMGROUP. Enviro-Care and SAVI have a technology transfer agreement that allows Enviro-Care to manufacture SAVI equipment in the US.

WAMGROUP specializes in bulk solids handling and processing equipment. Founded in Modena in 1969, WAMGROUP employs 2100 people at more than 60 locations in 40 countries. The company’s product range includes equipment for bulk solids handling and processing, dust filtration, wastewater treatment, vibration technology and renewable energy generation.

“This acquisition was a very logical move for WAM and provides them with immediate entry into the North American headworks market,” said Phil Thompson, president of Enviro-Care. “Our excellent rep force combined with the SAVI product line and WAM’s manufacturing expertise will make us an even stronger player in this market.”

“We are very excited about the future potential,” added Thompson. “The WAMGROUP will enable us to move forward aggressively with new products for new applications.”
