Inge has provided a 456,000 m³ UF-output to a desalination plant in Jamnagar, India.
This the biggest seawater desalination plant so far that has been equipped by Inge with its membrane technology.
The UV technology has had further benefits for the area as the world’s biggest petrochemical complex uses the output of the system as process and drinking water for its employees.
The system was going through intensive testing at the time the project was launched. Coincidentally, this took place during the monsoon season, which provided Inge with a great opportunity to confirm the performance of the Inge UF technology.
