The Water's Next awards, one of which was presented to LuminUltra for its development in drinking water technology, recognizes the accomplishments of individuals and companies driving innovation in the Canadian water industry. The drinking water award is presented annually to projects and technologies that have benefited municipal treatment and/or conditioning and purification. Representatives of LuminUltra accepted the award during Water Canada magazine’s annual gala at the Sheraton Centre in Toronto, Canada, following the Canadian Water Summit. LuminUltra aims to provide real-time, on-site microbiological monitoring and control products and services based on its 2nd generation ATP® (Adenosine Triphosphate) technology. This technology hopes to provide a means of quantifying total microbiological activity in drinking water and wastewater processes, allowing operators to take real-time action to mitigate microbiological problems.
