Since acquiring NanoH2O in April 2014, LG Chem has expanded its nanocomposite membrane technology sales operations and manufacturing capabilities, including building a new state-of-the-art, fully integrated membrane factory in Cheong-ju, Korea. The new facility will produce a full line of seawater, brackish water and tap water RO membranes from September 2015. LG Chem has also added to its global commercial team with sales and technical support offices now in China, India, Singapore, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Europe, Turkey, Korea, the USA and the Caribbean.
