Calgon Carbon wins US Army air filtration contract

Calgon Carbon Corp has secured a federal contract from the US Army Contracting Command for general purpose air filtration machinery.

The air filtration contract is valued at a minimum of US$1.9 million with a potential value of US$5.1 million over three years.

Robert O'Brien, Calgon Carbon’s executive vice president of the Americas said: “We are pleased that the US Army Contracting Command chose Calgon Carbon for this particular air filtration product. This award exemplifies our successful efforts to grow the air filtration market including containment and indoor air quality products and services.”
 
Calgon Carbon has more than 15 years of experience in supplying filter housings and V-bed activated carbon filters for indoor air purification, industrial air purification and military applications.
