FLSmidth wins material handling order in Kuwait

FLSmidth has received an order worth approximately €34 million from Kuwait Cement Co for the supply of in-plant material handling equipment, including filters, for the second production line at a cement plant in Shuaiba Port, Kuwait.

The FLSmidth material handling system includes belt conveyors, belt/weigh feeders, stackers, reclaimers, crushers, screens, bucket elevators, deep pan conveyors, air pollution control filters and revamping of existing ship unloader as well as of the respective transportation.

FLSmidth supplied the first production line with a capacity of 5500 tonnes per day in 1998.
