Ion Science introduces the TVOC SystemPlus

14 May 2010

The environmentally sealed, continuous monitor contains a photoionisation detector and integrated pump for rapid detection of volatile organic compounds (VOCs).

The TVOC SystemPlus from Ion Science is a fixed, continuous area monitor designed for installation in a safe, non-hazardous environment. The integrated pump allows a gas sample to be drawn from a remote location as far away as 30 m. The pump can be accessed quickly and easily for simple maintenance and repair.

The instrument’s 4-20 mA analogue output allows TVOC SystemPlus to be integrated into a DCS control system to give warning or control of high VOC levels within the environment. The TVOC SystemPlus is environmentally sealed to IP66, to protect it from rain, dust and contamination.

Applications for the TVOC SystemPlus from Ion Science include manufacturing and processing plants, refineries, petrochemical, offshore, chemical, wastewater treatment, pharmaceutical, indoor air quality, pulp and paper, solvent recovery systems and industrial painting and coating.
