Parker Racor releases new LT series of watermakers for marine applications

25 March 2010

The LT series watermakers, from Parker Racor, offer fresh water independence for ocean crossings, extended voyages or cruising, where dock water supplies are unreliable

Parker Racor’s LT series is designed for end-users and fleet operators requiring reliable fresh water production from a simple to operate watermaker system. The LT series offers capacities from 400 to 1,800 GPD, a compact frame which can be mounted above or below the water line, and a semi-modular frame format for installation flexibility.

Features of the LT series watermakers from Parker Racor include a compact stainless steel high pressure pump head; sediment pre-filter with a 5 micron rating; magnetic drive low pressure pump which never requires seal replacement; flow meters to monitor freshwater production; freshwater flush system; electrical control panel NEMA 4x with motor starter and pump controls; automatic diversion valve which diverts water to discharge if water quality drops below acceptable standards, and a digital water quality monitor which displays the purity of product water output.
