Tomkins buys Koch Filter Corp

Tomkins plc, the global engineering and manufacturing group, has acquired a 100% interest in air filter company Koch Filter Corp from the Koch family for a total cash consideration of US$35.5 million.

Koch Filter, a US$40 million revenue business, manufactures air filters for the non-residential filtration replacement market.

Senior management John and David Koch will remain with the company under Tomkins ownership.
 
Based in Louisville, Kentucky, USA, Koch Filter reported a profit before tax of US$3.3 million for the year ended 31 July 2009 and gross assets of US$19.2 million at that date.
