Switzerland’s Von Roll Holding AG has signed an agreement to acquire BHU Umwelttechnik GmbH, a German water and wastewater treatment engineering company.

Headquartered in Bietigheim-Bissigen, Germany, BHU Umwelttechnik GmbH serves both the industrial and public water markets, providing process engineering and project management from consulting through to turnkey implementation. Von Roll, which specialises in products and systems for power generation, transmission and distribution, will create a new business segment - Von Roll Water.

BHU Umwelttechnik GmbH CEOs Reinhold Brenner and Dr Conrad Hubele will remain with the company.
