Andritz to acquire KMPT

Andritz is planning to buy German solid/liquid separation company KMPT AG.

Headquartered in Vierkirchen, Germany, KMPT manufactures Krauss-Maffei centrifuges, filters, dryers and systems. KMPT has annual sales of about €50 million and approximately 280 employees.

Andritz expects to finalise the KMPT acquisition during the second quarter of 2010.
