Osmoflo despatches first of three desalination plant for Gordon Project

08 February 2010

Designed and constructed at Osmoflo’s fabrication facility in Burton, Adelaide, the reverse osmosis desalination plant is now being delivered to the Barrow Island site in Western Australia

On arrival at the Barrow Island site, the five containers housing the desalination plant will be linked together to enable final commissioning. The desalination plant is a bridging facility and will service building needs, including drinking water, over a period of approximately 30 months.

Osmoflo is working on a second, skid mounted plant which will be located in a permanent building. This desalination plant will provide water for the long term needs of LNG processing as well as potable water for drinking and general needs.
