The electrical/mechanical GreaseStopper from Highland Tank is designed for use in large commercial and institutional kitchens where strict sewer pre-treatment regulations apply.
Easy to maintain, the GreaseStopper removes and dewaters and disposes of food scraps using Highland tank's ‘SMART’ solids removal system. The separated grease is automatically skimmed from the surface of the interceptor and stored in a stainless steel tank which incorporates an automatic pump out system. This stored grease can be recycled for biodiesel production.
