HaloPure disinfection cartridges agreed for use in WAL jug and pitcher products

14 January 2010

Delivering water purification without needing access to electricity or water pressure, the HaloPure disinfection cartridges from HaloSource will enable WAL’s products to effectively remove 99.9% of bacteria and viruses from source water

Currently, WAL products can remove chlorine, lead, copper, zinc, nitrates and other impurities found in tapwater. With the addition of HaloPure disinfection cartridges, WAL cartridges will carry the Water Quality Association’s WQA Gold Seal certification for 3-log bacteria and virus kill.

John Kaestle, chief executive of HaloSource said: “Using HaloPure disinfection cartridges in WAL’s products will provide affordable drinking water disinfection technology to millions of new customers worldwide in place of typical product solutions which require access to electricity. It’s a great opportunity for both out companies.”
