Ceramic microfiltration from Elga Process Water

Designed for the surface treatment industries, the ceramic microfiltration plants from Elga Process Water feature CeraMem industrial strength ceramic membranes.

CeraMem ceramic microfiltration (MF) and ultrafiltration (UF) membranes are less prone to fouling, have greater resistance to high temperatures, aggressive and abrasive cleaning chemicals and typically have a doubled membrane life than conventional polymeric membranes.

Jeremy Wakeham, industrial sales manager, Elga Process Water said: “Ceramic membranes are ideal for the really tough applications in surface treatment like alkaline degreasing, cutting oil treatment and electrocoat paint treatment and CeraMem makes the life-cycle costs comparable to polymeric membranes.”

CeraMem MF andf UF membranes from Elga Process Water combine proprietary construction materials with unique membrane chemistry in large-diameter monolith blocks which provide higher capacity than competitive ceramic membranes, providing a more compact plant footprint.
