Nanostone Water appoints chief operating officer

Timothy Scott has joined membrane solutions company Nanostone Water as chief operating officer.

Scott will be responsible for the company’s global ceramic and polymeric manufacturing operations.

Prior to joining Nanostone, Scott served as general manager for Donaldson Co, Gas Turbine Systems. He has also served as plant manager for General Electric’s Aircraft Engine facility and served in various supply chain roles at General Motors. He earned an engineering degree at the United States Military Academy, a graduate degree in manufacturing management from Kettering University and an MBA from the University of North Carolina.
“Tim brings a wealth of global experience to our leadership team, and will play a critical role driving our growth strategy,” said David Jellison, CEO of Nanostone Water.
Headquartered in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, Nanostone Water has ceramic manufacturing operations in Halberstadt, Germany and produces polymeric membrane products at its Oceanside and Carlsbad, California facilities.
