Monitors track mist filter failure

18 May 2009

US company FilterSense has developed new Liquid Mist Flow Monitors.

FilterSense adds that these are used to monitor the outlet of all types of mist eliminators for mist carryover and mist filter failure detection.
The FilterSense monitors employ an advanced induction-sensing principle and a proprietary protected-probe to ensure high reliability even in harsh environments such as acid mist, oil mist or water droplets in high pressure pipes. Outputs include relay contacts, 4-20mA, Modbus and Ethernet. FilterSense adds that benefits include process analysis and control, environmental protection, contamination detection and equipment protection such as turbines and compressors.
