Platz joined Pall in 1981 and was most recently president of Pall Industrial - Europe.
During his 30-year Pall career, Platz has had global responsibility for Pall’s food and beverage market and was instrumental in leading Pall’s expansion into the emerging markets of Eastern Europe, the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).
“Wolfgang’s extensive knowledge of Pall coupled with his proven track record of performance make him ideally suited to lead Pall Industrial to the next level,” said Eric Krasnoff, Pall Corp chairman, CEO and president. “I am pleased that we have a deep bench of talented leaders on the Industrial team to support Wolfgang through this transition,” said Perez.
Pall Industrial represents approximately half of Pall Corp’s total revenues.
