MFRI says that it expects to record a second quarter charge of approximately US$500 000 in relation to the closing of the South African filtration unit, which is expected to be completed by the end of October 2010.
The South African filtration unit’s net sales for fiscal years 2008 and 2009 and the first fiscal quarter of 2010 each accounted for less than 0.5% of
MFRI’s consolidated net sales.
