The cargo door actuation system operates using Skydrol LD4 at 3600 psi. The disposable filter cartridge from Porvair is rated at 15 micron absolute and uses a proprietary PFG high dirt capacity filter media designed to maximise operating life. The development and qualification programme for the new filter kit and differential pressure indicator was completed on time and parts are now being supplied for production on the Boeing 787 aircraft.
