UV Flu Technologies announces entry of ViraTech air purification product line into hospitality market

28 June 2010

Master distributor of the product line, Puravair, has made a recent shipment which signals the products adoption into the hospitality, hotel and spa marketplace.

The Seagate Hotel and Spa in Delray Beach, Florida, and the Boston Harbor Hotel, in Boston, MA are both using the ViraTech UV-400 air purification product. The product has been patented and FDA cleared as a medical device and is considered to be an important step forward in providing virtually any public property with the ability to responsibly enhance air quality simply, easily, effectively and visibly.

John Lennon, president of UV Flu Technologies, said: “Hotels, hospitals, and medical waiting rooms are all a potentially huge market for our products. Our technology is unique, and to that end, we recently undertook a re-branding of our devices from ViraGuard, to ViraTech, in order to better underscore the importance of technological advancement in all our products. The ViraTech UV-400 is one of the few Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) products in the world cleared by the FDA for use as a medical device, and is designed specifically to kill over 99% of bacteria with each pass, and we believe that with all of the recent media discussion on air quality, that there is huge potential and need for this superior, maintenance-free and highly effective product.”
