GE wins contract to remove selenium

Materials technology specialist Umicore has selected GE’s advanced biological metals removal process (ABMet) wastewater bioreactor technology to remove selenium and other heavy metals from wastewater discharges at Umicore’s precious metals recycling facility near Antwerp, Belgium.
