Vlamir Fernandes is joining the Micronics Engineered Filtration Group (Micronics Filtration Holdings Inc) as vice president of sales, Latin America.
Fernandes has more than 15 years of filtration industry executive experience at companies including Pall Corp, Filter Specialists Inc (FSI) and Eaton Filtration (Hayward Industries).
From a base in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Fernandes will provide leadership for all of Micronics’ sales and strategic development activities throughout South America, Central America and Mexico.
He succeeds Tim Miller, who left the company in December after many years of service to pursue other opportunities.
Fernandes, who has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidade de Taubaté in São Paulo, Brazil, is fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.

The Micronics Engineered Filtration Group includes Micronics Inc, Southern Filter Media LLC, CP Environmental LLC, United Process Control Inc and the AeroPulse brand of APC equipment.
