New rack design saves costs
inge AG has developed a new rack design, called "T-Rack", an addition to its Multibore membrane technology and the dizzer module series.
In the new design, 8 dizzer 5000plus modules, each with 50 m2 of membrane surface area, are combined to form one basic unit. By utilising this basic 8 module unit, racks with more than 100 modules can be installed. The scalability can be achieved due to the hydrodynamic optimization of the basic unit. Thus, a total treatment capacity of approximate 500 m3 per hour is possible from a single rack, the company says. Depending on how much water needs to be treated, the basic size of the rack can also be designed on a flexible and customized basis.
The module placement in the rack is compact and the piping system is already integrated with the modules, so that additional piping system is not required. This can secure a safe and stable operation when there is a more difficult feed water, such as aggressive industrial water or sea water, inge says.
