Slurry sampler for particle size measurement

Horiba Instruments has developed a Slurry Sampler autosampler for the company's Partica LA-950 Laser Diffraction Particle Size Analyzer.The Slurry Sampler fully automates particle size measurement. Sample mixing can be achieved either with a mechanical stirrer or magnetic stir plate, and the sampling probe is cleaned in an integrated wash station to prevent sample cross-contamination. Sample containers can be configured depending on customer requirements with up to 60 sample positions.

The LA-950 Particle Size Analyzer includes an integrated sample dispersion system and flexible software, making it suitable for hands-free automation. Horiba says that it has the widest measurement range (0.01-3000µm), fastest analysis time (one minute sample-to-sample), and most powerful sample dispersion systems available.
