Trio join forces for wastewater project

Nitto Denko Corp's Hydranautics and Mitsubishi Rayon Engineering Co Ltd (MRE) have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Singapore's Public Utility Board (PUB), for the joint development of wastewater reclamation technologies using separation membranes.

This new Hydranautics/Nitto Denko-MRE-PUB triad will provide membrane bioreactor (MBR) technology to treat activated sludge as well as reverse osmosis (RO) membrane technology for a future large-scale water reclamation facility to be constructed in Singapore.
