Basin Water acquires process technology

Basin Water Inc has acquired Mobile Process Technology (MPT) company, a process technology company which focuses on adsorption, membrane filtration and industrial chromatography used for groundwater purification, industrial water treatment, and purification of industrial process streams. The company also has significant expertise in ion exchange processes for wastewater and process water treatment over a wide range of industries.

Basin Water says that the acquisition will augment Basin Water's technology in enhanced ion exchange while MPT's expertise in process design and engineering will drive new opportunities for Basin Water in both municipal groundwater and industrial service markets. of Basin Water plans to expand itsbusiness in the municipal drinking water treatment market by developing smaller-capacity treatment systems and grow geographically.
