Pharma filter from Whatman speeds up processing

Whatman has developed a new filter for the pharmaceutical industry which can save time and improve safety in lab conditions.

The Whatman ELISA Unifilter is a nitrocellulose microplate technology for immunology applications. It offers speed, sensitivity and simple washing protocols with nitrocellulose filter plates, the company says, and tasks performed with the Whatman ELISA Unifilter takes less time than traditional methods using regular microplates.

The ELISA filterplate makes it possible for researchers to utilise the protein-binding characteristics of nitrocellulose in a standard well format.
