Patent granted for filter housing without collection chamber
Allegheny Bradford Corp's proprietary Opti-Clean style filter housing has received a patent by the US Patent Office. The multi-round filter housing incorporates technology which eliminates the collection chamber of traditional housings and incorporates the cartridge plate right in the base, and each cartridge socket individually machined directly to the outlet port, the company says.
In addition, the top surface of the integrated base is sloped toward the inlet port. Therefore, filtered and unfiltered product drains freely to the appropriate ports. When the filter cartridges are removed, the Opt-Clean housing's interior is unobstructed and ready to CIP using the supplied multi-head spraywand whose multi-directional coverage provides complete cleaning of the interior surfaces.
