Trio of air filtration products from Donaldson

Donaldson Company has introduced three new air filtration products: the PowerCore™ G2, two new plastic Spiracle™ Crankcase Filtration Systems (CFS) and the redesign of its Duramax HNK hydraulic spin-on filter.

Donaldson's PowerCore™ G2 is the next generation of its PowerCore filtration technology. Donaldson says this latest design of PowerCore uses the same straight-through airflow and high-density filtration system as the original PowerCore, however it is 30% more environmentally friendly.

In addition to the latest generation of PowerCore, Donaldson has introduced two new plastic Spiracle™ Crankcase Filtration Systems (CFS) models for Open Crankcase Ventilation (OCV) and Closed Crankcase Ventilation (CCV) filtration solutions.

The Spiracle CFS removes crankcase aerosol and particulate using Donaldson's Synteq™ XP media that, the company says, has a lower operating pressure drop, higher overall efficiency (>95%) and longer filter life than many kinds of media currently on the market.

Finally, Donaldson has redesigned its Duramax HNK hydraulic spin-on filter for mid-pressure application, reporting that users can now choose between a spin-on or bowl cartridge style filter without changing heads.
