Roberts Filter products distributed in the UK

UK-based GB Filters has been awarded an agency agreement to distribute US-based Roberts Filter Group's products across the UK & Ireland with distribution into Germany, Belgium, Holland and Hungary at a later date.

Roberts Filter Group has been a US leader in the water and wastewater industry since its creation back in 1889, the company says. With its recent expansion into South America and the Far East, the company was looking for an opportunity to expand into the UK, Ireland and Europe.

"GB Filters will offer the entire range of Roberts Filters' filtration systems designed to maximise filtration efficiency, solving some of the most difficult treatment problems, whilst making considerable savings in energy and backwash water wastage," said Malcolm Snowball, a major shareholders of GB Filters.
