Stainless steel housing for degassing contactors
Membrana has commercialised a new version of its stainless steel vessel to be used with its 10 x 28 Liqui-Cel Membrane Degassing Contactors. The company says that the new 10 x 28 SS vessel has been designed to maintain current pricing levels in the face of ever-increasing prices of stainless steel and shortages of nickel used to make stainless steel. The new vessel maintains the same pressure limits as the high purity steel vessels.
Membrana says that its contactors are used around the world for adding or removing dissolved oxygen, carbondioxide and nitrogen to or from different liquids in the semiconductor, power, pharmaceutical, photographic, food and beverage and ink industries. Liqui-CelContactors are also used to add gasses to liquids to enhance megasonic cleaning.
