Cemtrex completes purchase of Griffin Filters

Emissions specialist Cemtrex Inc has completed its purchase of New York-based Griffin Filters, a manufacturer of fabric filters for industrial and construction applications. Griffin is an established supplier of shaker type filters for the concrete and aggregate industry and pulse jet filters for chemical, pharmaceutical, cement, food and other industries. It shall operate as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Cemtrex.

"The addition of Griffin marks Cemtrex's entry into the dust collection, environmental control and product recovery areas, a market for significant long-term growth potential," says Aron Govil, CEO and president of Cemtrex, "and we shall leverage our emission monitors sales through the existing network of Griffin's customers, distributors and sales representatives."
